Going to the movies in Amsterdam when it is raining does not sound like such a bad idea, especially if you go to The Netherlands oldest operating cinema that has been up in operating since the year 1912. This is a perfect place to go and watch a movie.

Shop
No one wants to try on clothes in the wet. However, there are some shops that you can shop in that will keep you dry – look around the department store on Dam Square. Be warned, this area may keep you busy for hours – long after the rain has passed. I know this is one that many of you girls wanted to hear on my list – well, now you have it!

Yes, music keeps you alive, right? Well, in Amsterdam, the Eastern Docklands has a grand music theatre just for you. It has been designed by Danish architects and is the state-of-the-art music complex. For all of you music lovers out there, I believe this would be a great place for you to go. Even if you are not the “party type,” you should still check it out.
