I always used to wonder, actually. All the damn time. I thought vacay didn't start until you were checked in to your room somewhere far away. Up until that point, you had to be stressed out to no end, in tears or ready to lose it on a TSA agent. In reality, it only takes 7 baby steps to actually ENJOY traveling like a boss.

1. LET an ALL-INCLUSIVE do the WORK for YOU
No need to reinvent the wheel when there are plenty of DIY travel sites that will cater to all of your vacation needs and save you plenty of dough.
2. "CARRY-on" is CODE for MOBILE HOME
Take your biggest, prettiest designer bag and put your whole life in to it. If you feel like a hobo, you're doing it right and you won't regret overpacking that bad boy.

3. CHECK at LEAST 1 PIECE of LUGGAGE
Keep weight in mind (we always check 2 since I'm a habitual over-packer). I prefer to know I could buy 1/2 of a souvenir shop and have enough room to bring it back with me.
4. OPT for LOW-MAINTENANCE BEAUTY NEEDS
Putting the extra work in 2-3 days before will have you waking up flawless and ready to go... Side note: Going for the wax saved me at least a day of travel time that I typically have to spend shaving basically my whole Italian body.
5. TRAVEL with PEOPLE YOU'RE COMFORTABLE with
If you don't know them well enough to discuss being bloated or gassy while having giant cankles after 12+ hours of travel, they're not real friends. Ditch them and come travel with us.

6. GET YOUR HOME WALK-in READY
Leaving a clean house will ALWAYS make your life easier, but it's even better when jet-lagged-you gets home and last-week-you thought of everything ahead of time.
7. HAVE FUN
Always remember you'll probably never be in the exact same location with the same group of people again. Choose how you want to remember it. When it doubt: "Do it for the story!" #LikeABoss
