1. Book Ahead

Book Ahead Don’t risk disappointment by waiting to book everything last minute. It is a much better idea to book ahead and you could even get early bird deals and advanced discounts.

2. Be Flexible

Be Flexible Be open to changing your specific dates and plans if it means that you can save some money or go an on extra adventure. Traveling can be an up in the air time, so don’t give yourself extra worry by having specific dates in mind.

3. Documents

Documents Make sure that you have all of the relevant documents in order for the countries you are travelling to. Do you need a VISA to get in?

4. Passport

Passport Make sure that your passport is in date and still valid! Don’t be one of those people who turn up to the airport only to be sent home crying!

5. Vaccinations

Vaccinations Make sure to check if you need any specific vaccinations for countries that you are visiting, it’s one of the most important pre trip things you should do.

Ticket Receipt Some countries have a policy where you cannot leave unless you have a pre-booked flight out already, so it’s a good idea to carry a receipt for your return flight with you.

Spread Your Money It’s a nightmare to be pickpocketed on holiday or have your luggage stolen, so to ensure you don’t have everything taken, spread your cash around in different bags.

Email Yourself Before you leave, send yourself an email with all of the important details of your entire trip. This way you’ll always have backup to refer to.

Pack Twice Pack your holiday bags, and then pack all over again! Doing it twice will ensure that you don’t forget anything important.

Check Liquids To save airport hassle, make sure that all your carry on liquids and creams are all 100ml or less.

Extra Clothing Always pack an extra outfit and essentials in your hand luggage, just in case your checked luggage goes missing.

20. Be Brave

Be Brave Travelling to an unknown place can be scary, but be brave and you will have the best time ever!

21. Be Curious

Be Curious Never lose that curious nature. It’s the best attitude to have when exploring a new destination.
