1

Grand Canyon

The Grand Canyon, one of the seven natural wonders of the world, makes it to the first place to visit in Arizona! Located snuggly in Northern Arizona, this beautiful landmark defines Arizona. Known for its history and its majestic ridges, it’s also a great place for adventure seekers & outdoor enthusiasts! I personally have seen this beautiful wonder and it’s beyond breathtaking, making it my top places to visit in Arizona!

2

Lake Havasu

Lake Havasu is one of the many beautiful cities (and lakes) in Arizona! With its main attraction being the London bridge - yes, THE London bridge, shipped straight from London (obviously). This makes Lake Havasu the second most visited area in Arizona after the Grand Canyon! Apart from the London Bridge, Lake Havasu is popular for boating, wake boarding and any other water activity you can imagine! Here is a fun fact: Lake Havasu actually first started as an Army Air Corps rest camp during World War II on the very shores of the lake! Who would've thought?

3

Sedona

Sedona, known for its cozy town hidden within gorgeous forest and mountains! Its artistic, historic background of Native American culture and old town feel can definitely be eye candy! This place is "Disney Land" for hikers and bikers with its trails and rocky paths! Adventure seekers alike this is the place to be!

4

Scottsdale

One of the popular cities in the East Valley home to Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin West Home, and the Desert Botanical Garden! Scottsdale, also home to Old Town Scottsdale, has the oldest ice cream shop (since 1958) known as "The Sugar Bowl." Scottsdale is also popular for the McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park where boys young and old can see real trains in a train yard!

5

Tempe

Tempe, another gorgeous town in the East Valley, home of the Arizona State University Sun Devils! This hot town is known for Mill Ave with its adventurous bars, night clubs, and college lifestyle! It's also home to Arizona Mills, one of the biggest shopping malls in Arizona which also features SEALIFE Arizona, an aquarium right in the mall! Just down the street is the Phoenix Zoo, home to a variety of different species! This is one of my ultimate favorite places to take the kids!

6

Glendale

Located in the West Valley, home of the NHL Phoenix Coyotes, Glendale is a host for West Gate and the University of Phoenix Stadium where Super Bowl XLII occurred in 2007! Right next door to Westgate is Tanger Outlets one of the newest outlets in Arizona! This is a die-hard football/hockey area! Go Cards, Go Yotes!

White Tank Mountains

Who wouldn't want to visit the White Tank Mountains? I've hiked the waterfall here before and it is beautiful! These ravishing ridges also have some history behind them- petroglyphs! That's right, you can see them as you hike along the trails and even off the trails! This place is surely fun!

Arizona has a lot to offer, and is definitely fun for all ages! Narrowing it down to simply just 7 top places to visit in Arizona seemed merely impossible! But, with a variety of activities, and adventures to do, Arizona will definitely be a place of interest! Have you visited Arizona before? Do you have any places to recommend?
