Frequently asked questions

3. Pick Somewhere Nearby

Just because you’re traveling doesn’t necessarily mean that you need to travel to another country. If you don’t have a specific location in mind, pick somewhere close enough to home that you could drive. You’re immediately cutting down a huge fraction of the trip when you eliminate the cost of the airfare!

4. Share Rooms

If you’re traveling with your best girlfriends, you should be comfortable sharing a room, if not a bed. If you’re really tight on the budget, split a hotel room multiple ways and get cozy! Being in such close quarters will be quite the bonding experience, to say the least!

5. Take the Flight Vouchers

Have you ever been waiting for your flight at the gate when the airline employees begin asking people to give up their seat for a later flight and hundreds of dollars in travel vouchers? If you have a few hours to spare, take the vouchers. It’s not as big of an inconvenience as you’d think, and you’ll have the airfare for multiple girls’ trips paid for as a result!

6. Live like a Local

If you’re traveling somewhere known for its tourist attractions, you don’t necessarily need to do them yourself. Chances are that they’re unnecessary expenses that could cost you a lot of money. Skip out on the restaurant that every tourist goes to and instead go to a little hole in the wall restaurant all of the locals love.

7. Travel at the Right Time of the Year

Timing is everything when it comes to travel. If you’re looking to save the most money possible, travel during the off-season for the location you’re going to. Look into the best time to visit the place you’re going to and instead book the exact opposite season. You’d be surprised by how much money you’ll save!
