There are many of people who decide to move to the Bay Area. For those of you who aren’t familiar with the Bay Area, it’s the region that surrounds San Francisco in Northern California. 1. Warm, Predictable Weather

California is generally very warm. In Northern California, it gets a little chilly, but it’s definitely not unbearable. It’s usually pleasantly sunny and in the 40s and 50s. This is a great selling point for people who move to the Bay Area! A more or less temperate climate means there's something for everyone, and you don't have to worry about too many uncomfortable fluctuations.

2. (Relatively) Stress-free Driving

Unless you’re in San Francisco or driving during rush hour, driving in the Bay is actually stress-free! Say goodbye to New York City traffic and parking spot hunting. I rarely have problems finding a spot in the Bay. All things considered, that might be enough of a reason to make the move, right? It's great if you're used to big city traffic.

3. Beautiful Scenery

California has some of the most beautiful highways. Highway 280 is absolutely gorgeous: there are hills and beautiful houses to look at. And when you get closer to the city, you see the Bay Bridge and the Golden Gate Bridge! Don't you love iconic views?

4. Sports

This is for all the sports fans out there! The Bay Area has several amazing teams, including the San Francisco Giants, San Jose Sharks, and the 49ers. And the stadiums are awesomely located, so catching a game is never an issue!

5. Tech Hub

Did you know that Facebook, Google, Twitter, Waze, and a bunch of other tech companies were founded in the Bay Area? When you live in a tech hub like the Bay Area, you get exposed to so much new technology. And that always serves as a major inspiration for me! How about you?

6. Diversity

People from all over the world move to big hubs, like San Francisco. This creates so much diversity. I’m sure you are all aware that San Francisco is booming with people from all over the world and the LGBT community. In other words, everyone is welcome! It's so great to be in a place that welcomes everyone with open arms, and so eye-opening as well.

7. Wonderful Restaurants

When I’m in the Bay Area, I feel like I get a taste of the world. There are award-winning restaurants all over the place. And it doesn’t stop there! There are wonderful sweet shops, such as Sprinkles Cupcakes, Cako, and Pinkberry here, too. Just walking down the street, you're in for a world of culinary adventure.

Northern California, especially the Bay Area, has so much to offer. It’s no surprise why so many people decide to come over. But before you start packing your bags, make sure you seriously do some research. The Bay Area is like heaven, but costs of living are high. Don’t just move on a whim – think it through! Have you ever lived in the Bay Area? What are your thoughts? What are some other lovely places to consider moving to?

#4 Go Giants....

I lived there a few years and it was super sweet I had many good friends I met up there and best part was my one and only child at the time got all the attention because my friends couldn't have children sad for them I know but I was pretty happy

And there was a lot of work out there you just have to look in the right places .

I have to disagree on the stress-free driving comment you made in this article. The Bay Area has some of the worst traffic and definitely the worst roads in the country. This state is broke and doesn't have the money to keep up their roadways and that results in the massive amount of traffic issues as they are not keeping up with the growth.

I have lived in the south, east coast and am From the Bay Area. I have to say there is nothing like the Bay! I moved back in 2005 and been home since. The cost of living is expensive but with that cost higher pay. When you think positively jobs are not hard to come by, there's much out there. The Bay Area is in my pinion one of the best places to live

Live in the Bay Area and proud

Born & raised in the Bay Area! I have to say it's the best. But I disagree about the stress free driving.. Have you been on 880 or 101 lately? Not exactly an easy commute

I fall in love with Northern California it has the best parks and places to eat .
