Tried and True Tips for Planning Your Best Disney Vacation ...

Need some tips for planning a Disney vacation? When you think of Florida, not only do you think of our great sunshine and beaches, but many know us for our theme parks. The main theme park, commonly known as “The happiest place on earth”, is Walt Disney World. Now don’t get me wrong, it’s such a wonderful experience, but you DO need a plan before arriving for your trip. With four theme parks, two water parks, an ESPN sports complex, two malls, and over 25 hotels, it can become overwhelming quickly and if you plan on spending your vacation here, I’m sure you want to make the most of it. So, if you are planning a trip to Disney, how much thought have you really put into it? This is where I come in! I have put together a list of the top 5 things you should think about before heading on into your adventure. Let's dive into the best tips for planning a Disney vacation.

The Park Hopper Pass is Not Always Necessary!

Not only are the parks not within walking distance, but you will be spending precious daytime light trying to get from one park to another. Trying to figure out how to get to each park is a challenge if you're not familiar with it and each park has enough activities to spend a full day at. This is one of my best tips for planning a Disney vacation.

2

Where do You Plan on Staying?

After walking the parks all day, it does get exhausting! Staying at one of the Walt Disney World resorts does have its advantages, such as complimentary shuttles to and from the parks, they are closer to the parks, and cost just as much as surrounding hotels, just to name a few perks.

3

Have You Looked into the Fast Pass?

This is pretty much a no-brainer for me when we go, as it saves lots of time on Disney’s most popular attractions. It is a separate fee from your admission ticket, but some rides you will wait between 1-2 hours versus maybe 30 minutes with the Fast Pass.

4

Want to Know the Disney Cafes Hidden Secret?

Ice water is free from any cafe with fountain drinks. Staying hydrated is a must.

5

Have You Downloaded the My Disney Experience App?

Not only can you link all your reservations through here, but it will also show you ride wait times, lets you purchase souvenirs, has all your photo pass photos, and you can do mobile food ordering from here.

Although I can give you hundreds of tips to make your trip most memorable and easy going, I feel these are the most important tips to remember. I hope you have found this list helpful and hope you have a magical time!
