Where Thoughts and Opinions Converge

I remember being vert bored on a Club 18-30 holiday to Tenerife years ago, where apart from Teide,we did NONE of this list - I really missed out! I actually stayed on Puerto de la Cruz and would have loved to visit the gardens if I had known that they existed...

Driving up to the summit of Teidi is really an experience and hopefully you don't get stuck up there due to the blanket of mist ! The Loro Park is indeed the world renowned zoo with masses of animals to see apart from the hundreds of parrots. It is the show UNESCO blue print for how a zoo should be run. The orca business Mya mentions is an unfortunate accident but no reason to boycott the attraction. Undoubtably the best zoo we have ever visited and I have seen many in different countries on my travels.

Please do not support animal abuse by mentioning Loro Parque who abuses it's orcas and underplayed a trainer (Alexis Martinez) death in 2009, exactly two months later dawn Brancheau at SeaWorld was killed by an orca. All LP orcas are on breeding loan (even though they are all related orcas) from SeaWorld. Sad to see yall support them

I´m from Tenerife and was very surprised when I saw this wonderful article, thanks. But the 6th pictures isn´t Jardín Botánico, it´s Lago Martiánez in Puerto de la Cruz, witch is a swimming pools complex. By the way, I have to say that I´m totally agree with Mya.
