I hope you enjoyed my post on the best places to view the sun rise (travel.allwomenstalk.com), and now it’s time to move on to some of the best places to view sunsets. Aren’t they the same I hear you argue! Photographers would argue vehemently that they are distinctly different. The changes of light as we move from bright sunlight to velvety blackness are of course the direct opposite of the breaking dawn, giving us a wondrous spectacle of nature’s beautiful palette. Here are some of the best places to view sunsets. Enjoy!
1. U Bein Bridge, Mandalay, Myanmar
U Bein Bridge is the world’s longest teak bridge, stretching out a whopping 1.2km over the Taunthaman Lake in Mandalay in charismatic Myanmar, and is one of the most incredible places to view sunsets in the world. Named after a former mayor, the bridge is something of a national icon, and is a bustling hive of activity during the day with many locals and Buddhist Monks still making use of it. It’s perfect for parking up and watching the magic of another day in Mynamar sink below the horizon.
