2. The Great Ocean Road

The Great Ocean Road which runs from Torquay to Allansford along the stunning south coast is unquestionably one of the most popular Australian road trips. Not only does this drive pass through a number of quaint seaside settlements, it also offers access to pristine beaches and waterfalls, in addition to providing travellers with unmatchable ocean views for the vast majority of the 243 kilometre stretch. The crowning glory of this road trip however, is the towering rock structures known as the 12 Apostles, which lie just of the coast in the Port Campbell National Park.
