1. The Yongala, Australia
The Yongala is a ship that was wrecked off the coast of Queensland, Australia and Townsville is the best town from which to access this dive. The ship sank in 1911 during a cyclone. It has been voted one of the best diving spots in the world and it is a protected site so you cannot enter the ship when diving around it. The area, however, is teeming with life and various sea creatures and you will be able to see a range from sharks, to fish, turtles, coral and manta rays.

4. Thistlegorm, Egyptian Red Sea
This is another wreck diving spot, where you will find a British ship sunk during World War II. It was carrying supplies for war, including weapons and vehicles. Divers recommend more than one visit to be able to explore this fascinating and large dive site.
5. Navy Pier, Western Australia
Navy Pier is a shore dive in Western Australia and has been voted one of the best dive sites in the world recommended for its abundance of marine life. Creatures to see range from the tiny to the huge, sometimes even including Humpback whales.
6. Manta Ray Night Dive, Kailua Kona, Hawaii
This is a spectacular night dive where lights attract plankton and bait fish. This in turn attracts the Manta Rays who come to feed, and put on a show for the lucky divers. This is a rare experience.
7. Big Brother, Egyptian Red Sea
The Brothers are two small islands in the Red Sea, and surrounding the bigger of the two are several of the best diving spots. There are two ship wrecks to dive in and around, as well as spectacular soft coral wall dives. A strong current makes for a more challenging dive, but with big rewards.

A formation of rocks that you can see just breaking the surface when the tide is low, Richelieu Rock offers a large area of spectacular diving and needs more than one visit to explore the whole area. It offers a lot of opportunities to see sea life like bull sharks and schools of large fish.
