if a turkish man marrys a british women over in turkey, then came here to the uk to live. how long can he stay married to her, before he can leave her? like i mean ,get a full british visa or passport or whatever it is they get, like how long do they have to be in this country and stay married before a turkish person gets full rights? if u get what i mean? im asking as my boyfriends mother is married to a turkish man, has been for about 2 years now, hes been living here for about 2 years or so. we have doubts over him ,as things have happened recently which have shown his true colours, long long story but its not very nice. but basically how long does he have to stay married before he can leave her and still get a full british passport or visa, or whatever it is, where he can come and go as he pleases basically?

a year or so ago, he didnt have a passport , they wanted to go to turkey on holiday but he couldnt as his passport was out of date and couldnt renew it ,as apprently there wasnt enough evidence he had been in the uk for 2 years, or some bull, but there goin away next month on holiday to turkey so im guessing he must have a new passport. basically me and my bf want to know how it all works ? the whole set up ,and what it takes before he can leave ? not that we have nothing against turkish people, some who ive met are sooo lovely but there is so much to the story of his mothers husband, if just dont seem right and we really rekon it isnt true love. can anyone help please, we just want some info on how it all works etc? thanks
how long does it take though to get citizenship roughly??? thats what we want to know. and what is the process x
