Seeing this temple is definitely one of the best things to do in Barcelona, especially for any Gaudi fans. It’s an impressive building, as Gaudi’s intention was to build a church that could seat over 10,000 people, and it has twelve spires (symbolic of the 12 apostles) that all rise to over 100m. Take an elevator to the top and enjoy breathtaking views over the city.
2. Shop!

Barcelona has every shop you could possibly need: La Ribera is the home of hot boutiques selling clothing by designers like Gaultier, McQueen and Miro, but there’s a wide range of high-street shops and many stores selling vintage clothing, antiques and many other things.
3. Hit the beach

There are plenty of things to do in Barcelona that will wear you out so why not relax and hit the beach? The city has about 5km of sandy coastline, and several nice beach areas. The Barceloneta Beach is the main hotspot but there are plenty of quieter places too. There’s even a nudist beach if you’re into that sort of thing.
