My tracking information for the USPS said Manifest Ack?

I bought some postage for a few packages on PayPal and I just checked the tracking and it said Manifest Ack for them. This has never happened before. What does this mean? Does this mean they are being sent back to me?

Barry : The Manifest Mailing System is being used within the postal system. It simply means that Paypal sent a (what is called) manifest declaring that your postage is paid and that Poist6y. The system allows another ... See more entity such as Paypal to collect the money. The manifest amount is then sent to USPS along with 100′s if not thousands of other payments. It allows Paypal and other entities to collect interest on the money they are holding under manifest. It also allows the the drop off post office to declare it within their numbers as money brought in by that post office. Your item and shipment are fine and not being returned to you unless there is another reason for the return.

Shelly : One of my items has Manifest Ack noted on tracking info.. The other two items I mailed at the same time, went through and are on thier way.. Wondering if possibly me using a wrong ... See more box for this item could be a problem.. I used a FRB with The FRB Covered with tape.. I just might get it returned to me..

Frank : Hi, how do we know it was dropped off at the post office i take it that the label and tracking number are printed off by the seller. How does the buyer get proof ... See more that it went to the post office,it looks like the manifest ack tells the buyer that the item has had the postage paid plus tracking number added but no proof of being delivered or received by the post office. Can you please advise.
