4. Breathe!

One of the key things to remember and to help overcome flying nerves is to breathe properly when on the flight. You should bear in mind that conscious breathing has always been a great calming technique and is more than useful for relaxing your nerves when you feel nervous. The best technique is to breathe in through your nose and breathe out through your mouth in a slow and controlled way. Do it properly and you will soon see anxiety go away.
