Dresden is beautiful! I also love Dusseldorf. Germany is rich in history, and most Germans know Americas history better than we do. It's great to to capture it in person. Highly recommend any travel to Germany!

I'm living in Stuttgart!!! Great City :)

Oh we lived in Butzbach and he worked in Freiburg. And I worked in Giessen.

I'm so keen to live in Germany for about a year (all I can afford at the moment) and thinking of staying at a student flat or private flat in Dresden. I've been learning German so hopefully I'll be fluent by the time I get there :) but yeah I'm pretty much obsessed with Germany and I love the language. Even though I'm from New Zealand, I feel like a German at heart :)

I would recommend Nürnberg, Tübingen, Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Freiburg and Düsseldorf, instead of Stuttgart, Frankfurt and Cologne (only the Dom itself is worth visiting) :)
